The Dartford Ringing Group is a collection of amateur ringers (banders) using ringing as a tool to study the population dynamics and migration strategies of birds at several sites in the southeast of England.

2007 Ringing Report

Our ringing report for 2007 has recently been published. This contains full details of the birds ringed and recoveries received during the year, together with a number of papers by group members on our various projects such as the Greylag Goose study, nest boxes and constant effort ringing.

Every year the group conducts a roundup of Greylag and Canada Geese at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve Kent to count and ring the birds for a long running population study. If you are a ringer or helper and would like to take part in 2008, please contact us at: drgwebmaster@btopenworld.com
